Hunter Jumper Named To All-ACC Academic Men’s Soccer Team
CHARLOTTESVILLE – For the third-consecutive season, Virginia junior midfielder Hunter Jumper (Plano, Texas) has been named to the All-ACC Academic Men’s Soccer Team.
In 2010, Jumper started 19 games for UVa and scored one goal – the game-winner against Wake Forest in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals. A psychology major, Jumper was named to the 2010 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/ESPN Men’s Soccer Academic All-District second team.
For his career, Jumper has tallied three goals and nine assists.
To be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.0 cumulative average during his academic career.
North Carolina’s Kirk Urso was the ACC Men’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
