William and Mary men's soccer team will travel down Interstate-64 on Wednesday
evening as it visits Old Dominion for a match scheduled to kickoff at 7 p.m. Fans can follow the action online at

Scouting the Tribe
The Green and Gold enters the mid-week match with an overall record of 2-9-3 and a CAA ledger of 0-4-2. On Saturday night, W&M battled George Mason to a scoreless first-half, but the Patriots netted two second-half goals en route to the win. Senior Ben Anderson leads the Tribe with eight points coming on two goals and a team-high four assists. Sophomores Chris Albiston and Marcus Luster have tallied two goals apiece, while juniors Roshan Patel and Chris Perez have accounted for a goal and one assist each.
Scouting the Monarchs
Old Dominion entertains the Tribe on Wednesday night with an 8-1-2 record on the year and a 2-1-2 mark in league action. On Saturday, the Monarchs defeated UNCW, 3-1, in Wilmington, N.C. Senior Chris Harmon led the Monarchs over Wilmington with two goals, while junior Tim Hopkinson chipped in one score. ODU's lone setback came in CAA action at the hands of Drexel, 4-1. Hopkinson leads ODU with 22 points coming on nine goals and four assists.
News and Notes:
- Wednesday's match will mark the 51st meeting between W&M and ODU, as the Tribe leads the all-time series 22-20-8. Additionally, the Green and Gold owns an aggregate advantage of 75-62 over the Monarchs.
- Last season, the then No.17-ranked Monarchs downed the Tribe, 3-0, at Martin Family Stadium at Albert-Daly Field. In its last victory at the Old Dominion Soccer Complex, the Tribe defeated ODU, 2-0, during the 2008 campaign.
- The College will close regular-season competition playing three out of four on the road. The Tribe will play two straight matches on the road starting at ODU on Wednesday before closing its home slate on Oct. 27 against defending CAA Champion Delaware. W&M will conclude the regular season on Oct. 31 at Hofstra.
- When the Tribe and Monarchs meet up on Wednesday night it will mark the third time this season that W&M has competed against a ranked team. Earlier this year, the Green and Gold matched up against No. 2-ranked Creighton and No.12-ranked St. John's.

On offense, the Wildcats do one thing: run the football. Quarterback Colin Klein has evenly split carries with running back John Hubert—98 apiece—for 1,116 yards and 18 touchdowns. The offense is averaging more than 40 points per game. Virginia Vacations
