D.C. United Returning to MLS Playoffs after Five Year Drought

Washington, D.C. (October 20, 2012) – With its 3-2 win versus the Columbus Crew tonight, second place D.C. United has clinched a post-season berth for the first time in five years.

It has been a long year. We’ve been through some ups and downs. To be here today in the playoffs is a big deal.”
D.C. United has yet to lose a home game since March 10, 2012 on opening night. With the win tonight, United extended its unbeaten streak to six games going 5-0-1.

Tickets are priced at $60 for Mezzanine seats, $50 for Midfield, $40 for Sideline and $30 for Endline. While the club could host as many as three matches en route to an MLS Cup Final appearance, D.C. United Season Ticket Holders would access the first two playoff matches using the Special Match 2 and Special Match 3 tickets in their season ticket books.
