Women's Soccer Captures, 2-0, Win at Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. - The William and Mary women's soccer team defeated Auburn, 2-0, Sunday afternoon from the Auburn University Soccer Complex.  Behind senior Mallory Schaffer's penalty kick score and junior Dani Rutter's ninth career goal, W&M tallied the program's seventh win over SEC competition.  The win improves the College's record to 3-2, while Auburn falls to 3-3 on the season.  The win was the 350th for W&M's head coach John Daly.  In his 26th season at the helm of the Tribe program, all of Daly's triumphs have come at the College. WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The William and Mary men's soccer team defeated Richmond, 3-0, Saturday night from Martin Family Stadium at Albert-Daly Field.  Senior Ben Anderson netted an early first-half penalty kick score, while junior Roshan Patel and sophomore Chris Albiston recorded goals in the second-half, as the Tribe pulled away in the decisive three-goal victory.  The win improves W&M's record to 1-1-1 on the season, while the Spiders fall to 1-2 on the year. Schaffer Earns CAA Co-Player of the Week Honors

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - After an outstanding week on the pitch, William and Mary senior midfielder Mallory Schaffer was named the CAA Co-Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
