JMU Soccer Weekly Notes

Scouting Towson:  Towson has a 3-4 overall record and is 1-0 in CAA play after opening league competition with a 1-0 home win over Georgia State on Sept. 22.

The Series with Towson: JMU leads the series 14-10-1.  In the 12 meetings since Towson joined the CAA in 2002, only once has a team has won consecutive games.  That happened the last three seasons, when JMU claimed victories over the Tigers.
     Four of the last six meetings were one-goal decisions.

Close Losses
:  JMU's 1-0 loss to No. 11/5 Georgetown on Sept. 25 marked the Dukes' third one-goal defeat this season.

Hoyas End School Home Unbeaten Streak Record:  JMU's 1-0 loss to No. 11/5 Georgetown on Sept. 25 ended the Dukes' home unbeaten streak at a school-record 15 games (13-0-2).
