The twenty-year-old Potomac Falls High School product signed with United back in 2010 but has yet to see time with the first team in an official MLS match. Shanosky told VASoccerNews:
"I'm anxious to play and really want to prove myself."
This past off season the 6'4" midfielder, who played on the U.S. Under-20 MNT, took part in the Generation Adidas Tour with fellow up-and-coming MLS players in Holland and played some of its best reserve teams including Ajax, FC Volendam, and Almere City FC.

Do you have any idea if his salary will be paid by D.C. or whether he will count on United's 30-man roster?

DeleteBrendan, those are great questions. We will look into them but with MLS being so secretive about contract issues details may be hard to come by.
