The Ultimate Cup tournament created by Kickers, Chesterfield United merger

A new youth soccer tournament created by the merger of the Chesterfield  United Icebreaker and the Kickers Invitational, The Ultimate Cup tournament  features a Girls and Boys weekend, scheduled to launch February 24-26, 2012 and  March 2-4, 2012.  Applications are available; click here for the Girls Weekend application, and here for the Boys Weekend application.

With divisions for all levels of play from Classic to  Elite, the Ultimate Cup will host games Friday through Sunday and features  top-class facilities with access to some of the nation’s best natural grass  playing surfaces as well as numerous synthetic turf fields. In each division,  teams will compete for the prestigious Ultimate Cup, with finalists also being  honored with a mini replica trophy.

The joint venture between  Chesterfield United and Richmond Kickers will provide an extensive economic  boost to the region, with 100% participation from Chesterfield County clubs,  teams and players.  Additionally, players will have the opportunity to be  scouted by collegiate coaches from throughout the east coast
