Mid-Week College Soccer Round-up

Women’s Soccer Concludes Regular Season Thursday Against Miami

 
The No. 5 Virginia women’s soccer team concludes its regular season schedule as it hosts Miami on Thursday night. Game time is 7 p.m., and the game will be webcast on VirginiaSports.com.

 
UMW Women's Soccer Drops 1-0 Decision to Roanoke

 
Roanoke College scored in the 49th minute to hand the University of Mary Washington women's soccer team a 1-0 defeat on Tuesday at the Battleground. The Eagles fall to 8-6-2 on the season.

 
No. 25 Virginia Men's Soccer Blanks American, 2-0

 
The No. 25 Virginia men's soccer team notched its third straight shutout with a 2-0 victory over American Tuesday evening at Klöckner Stadium. Calvin Rezende (Fr., Davie, Fla.) and Brian Ownby (Sr., Glen Allen, Va.) each scored for the Cavaliers (10-5-1), who now have recorded five shutouts in their last seven matches.

 
Tribe Falls on the Road to Wake Forest, 1-0

 
The William and Mary Tribe men's soccer team dropped a tough, 1-0 match on the road Tuesday night, falling to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  With the loss, the College falls to 8-8 on the season, while Wake improves to 8-6-2 on the year.
