"I've been told former USMNT captain & current ESPN TV analyst John Harkes has interviewed 4 vacant U.S. Under-20 coaching job #Disclosure"
However Galarcep was quick to follow up with tweets saying:
"It's no secret Harkes has wanted to get back into coaching 4 some time, but has struggled to score key interviews, let alone a coaching gig"
"Doesn't mean Harkes is a favorite 2 be Thomas Rongen's replacement, I'd bet against him getting it actually, but it certainly is interesting"
So, will John Harkes be the next U-20 coach for the U.S. program and join former USMNT teamates Thomas Dooley and Tab Ramos on the U.S. staff under Klinsmann or will one of the aforementioned former teamates be the future coach of the U-20's? Stay tuned!
