Unstoppable De Rosario earns MLS Player of the Week Again

Dwayne De Rosario is on a frantic pace and doing all he can to single handidly carry D.C. United into the playoffs. Major League Soccer has named DeRosario the Player of the Week for the second time in as many weeks coming off of his hat trick at home for United against Toronto F.C.

Last week De Rosario received the POW award for his red hot performance against San Jose where he scored 2 goals for the Black and Red.

Since his arrival here in Washington, D.C. No. 7 has scored 6 times in 6 games and D.C. United fans are hoping he can keep up with that pace as United fight for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Following his amazing performance at RFK De Rosario said, "It was a good feeling to help my team get points. Whether it’s against Toronto or not, that doesn’t really matter to me. I try to play every game with the same mentality."

Next up United face Whitecaps FC and hope to collect yet another 3 points at home.
