More D.C. United Player Appearances

Washington, D.C. (June 8, 2011) - As part of D.C. United’s continued efforts to make appearances in the community and through its partnership with Volkswagen, United players will be making various appearances throughout the Metropolitan Area this week.


On Thursday, June 9 Perry Kitchen and Ethan White will do the same at Simon Elementary School in D.C. Also on Thursday, Santino Quaranta, Dax McCarty, Chris Pontius, Clyde Simms, Bill Hamid, Josh Wolff, and Marc Burch will be at Davelle’s Meet and Greet in Reston, Va.

On Friday, June 10 midfielder Kurt Morsink will be present at the United Soccer Club Tournament, which will be held on the RFK Stadium Turf Field. Finally, there will be three player appearances to be determined on Saturday, June 11. These will be at the VW Clinic in the RFK Turf Field, the SYA Rec Festival in Centreville, Va, and at the VW Garage in RFK Stadium.
