VCCL Accepts Great Falls Soccer Club Resignation

Great Falls Soccer Club submitted their resignation yesterday from VCCL North citing recent changes in staff and leadership. “We are not prepared at this time to appropriately participate in VCCL,” said newly elected Commissioner Kenneth Cushing. “We will spend the next year preparing ourselves for future participation in VCCL.”


VCCL is managed by a Board of Directors made up of the directors of coaching from each of its members clubs. With the unique master club-to-club schedule, the directors schedule their own games between clubs.

Strong management and administrative skills are a hallmark of the VCCL directors and their clubs. Dave Amsler, president, thanked Great Falls for their candor and invited them to apply for membership at a later date.

“We will take this opportunity to explore cross-over games between the VCCL North and South clubs this fall,” Amsler said.
