WIN A TRIP TO SEE MANCHESTER UNITED!

Richmond, VA – (Friday, April 1, 2011) – The Richmond Kickers and HCA Virginia are pleased to once again host the fan favorite Frisbee Toss halftime contest at every Kickers pro home game this season. New in 2011, the grand prize will be a trip for two to see a Manchester United game in Manchester, England, courtesy of XL Soccer Tours. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the contest will benefit the American Heart Association.

“Kickers fans love our long-standing tradition of the HCA Virginia Halftime Frisbee Toss,” commented Shelley Sowers, Richmond Kickers General Manager. “Having XL Soccer Tours provide such a wonderful prize will certainly raise excitement in the stadium and will help us raise funds and awareness to benefit the American Heart Association.”

During the course of the pro season, the Kickers will rent Frisbees to fans at Richmond City Stadium. Contestants will attempt to win the grand prize by flinging their Frisbees at the HCA Virginia target on the field at halftime.
The contestant that successfully lands his or her entire Frisbee in the center circle of the target will win an all-expenses paid trip for two to Old Trafford to see one of the most storied franchises in English Premier League history, courtesy of XL Soccer Tours. The prize package includes two tickets to a Manchester United game (game day to be determined by XL Soccer Tours and Richmond Kickers), airfare for two, ground transportation to and from the airport, hotel and stadium, three night stay for two with breakfast included and the option to purchase additional game tickets.
“We are delighted to sponsor the HCA Virginia Frisbee Toss,” states J.C. Sadler, Marketing Director for HCA Virginia Health System. “We have long standing relationships with both the Kickers and the American Heart Association, so it is great to team up for such a worthy cause.”
Don’t miss your chance to win a trip for two to see a Manchester United game at the Kickers pro home opener this Saturday, April 2. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m.* at Richmond City Stadium. Avoid lines at the gate and order tickets in advance at RichmondKickers.com.
