We will give away "I am A Futbolr" T-shirt (pictured below) to the winner every other week.
Special thanks to our friends at http://www.futbolr.com/ for this great contest!
Who else but a true futbolr would risk their "39 y o high school has been" (stay at home mom's) joints and bones to play a pickup indoor game against a 6ft 250lb 40 yr old,out of control, "elementary school has been" each tuesday!
ReplyDeleteNice, that is definetely what a True Futbolr is made of!
ReplyDeleteWhat happens when you love the game so much that you decide to help a friend out and walk onto the field for the 1st time in 20 yrs? You get hit square in the face w/ the ball, get knocked out, get knocked flat on your back, all in the first 10 mins of the game. You get up, shake yourself off, & go back into the game. All because you love it so much & get a thrill to just be on the field again.
ReplyDeleteYes, only a True Futbolr would get back in after that type of abuse. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI had to take a sabbatical from coaching college soccer due to my wife expecting another baby.....going crazy so I started my own soccer coaching blog so that I can keep involved in the game somehow. Freak injury prevents me from playing or refereeing anymore, so I get my soccer fix online and via Fox Soccer Channel. My son is named Gunnar after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and my baby on the way is to be named Keegan after Kevin Keegan...now that's a True Futbolr family!
ReplyDeleteIf by true fotbalr you mean 100% obsessed with it, then no, not yet. I plan on becoming 100% obsessed after college. I do, however, love not only my universities team and players, but many pro/semi pro teams and players as well.
ReplyDeletewe i love the game fooball it just makes me happy when am in the games football is my life with out it i will not be living
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to our first winner: Jennifer. Your shirt is on its way!
