LEXINGTON, Va.- The VMI men’s soccer program has finalized its 2011 recruiting class, head coach Richie Rose announced Monday, June 6. The class features eight players from three states to replace the Keydets six departed seniors from a year ago.
“I am extremely pleased with the caliber of player we are introducing in this 2011 recruiting class,” said Rose. “These players as a whole have a great balance of technical, tactical, and physical ability. Additionally, the variety of positions will give the program more quality in depth. The goal of this class was to bring in more attacking minded players and I believe we have achieved this.”
